Join us as we break through old limitations and open up to the adventures and delights of discovering new possibilities, both inner and outer. The trials and triumphs encountered along the Sacred Path of Parenting unfold as we walk in the woods and blossom into gifts of wisdom and love.

Together we can create the world in which to best raise our children now. 


IN THE FOREST incorporates the principles of Waldorf methods, R.I.E., slow parenting, the art of cultural mentoring, and above all...simplicity.

Daily Activities Include:                                                                       

-Walking, running, climbing and jumping
-Exploring, wandering and dawdling -- no strollers
-Uninterrupted, imaginative free play
-Parent observation, reflection and discussion
-Circle and singing
-Bring your own snack
-Story

Everyone Everyday:                                                                            

-Respect environment and each other
-Dress in layers for the changing weather
-We carry our backpacks and water
-Raincoat, rain pants and boots on rainy days
-Change of clothes is advised
-We are outside for the two hour class
